Introduction to MonetBorn in 1840 and died in 1926, Oscar-Claude Monet was most famous for his involvement in the Impressionist movement. Monet painted a variety of subjects ranging from flowers, landscapes, portraits, cityscapes, and still life, and many of his works can be found in museums all across the world throughout Europe, North America, and Japan.
